Mickey M. Karram, MD
Dr. Mickey Karram is an internationally renowned urogynecologist and pelvic surgeon. He was the first physician in the United States to perform the MonaLisa Touch therapy and is currently the lead investigator for the US research trials. He is the Director and Founder of the Laser Institute for Vaginal and Vulvar Health (www.LIVVhealth.com). He is also the Honorary Editor-In-Chief (previous Editor-In-Chief) of the "International Urogynecology Journal", and the consumer publication "Women's Health Today". Dr. Karram has twice received the honor of "Best Doctor" (April 2002 and May 2003) from Best Doctors, Inc.; and in 1997 "Good Housekeeping" magazine listed him as one of the "Best Doctors for Women".
Peter Weiss, MD
Dr. Peter Weiss is a Board Certified OB/GYN, and an Assistant Clinical Professor of OB/GYN at UCLA School of medicine. He is currently the Medical Director for the Rodeo Drive Women's Health Center. Dr. Weiss is a national figure in women's health care policy, having worked as a health care adviser for Senator John McCain's presidential campaign as well as on both sides of the isle. He has appeared on numerous national television and radio programs, as well as having had numerous articles and letters published on women's health, including the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Weiss is a member of Cedars Sinai Center for Excellence, and is only one of four trainers nationwide for the MonaLisa Touch laser.
Robert F. Katz, MD
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Robert F. Katz completed his undergraduate studies at UC San Diego, medical school at University of Chicago School of Medicine and internship, residency and chief residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Katz has been a premier provider for the women of Beverly Hills for over 25 years, being named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report and “Super Doctor” by the LA Times Magazine. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Dr. Katz is a leader of the hospital community and has served on the OB/GYN Performance Improvement Committee, the physician Peer Review Board for OB/GYN, and the hospital-wide Medical Executive Committee. He was awarded The Golden Rattle Award in 2009 by the March of Dimes for his unrivaled care of mothers and babies in the Los Angeles Community.
Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, MD
A Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz received her medical degree in 1996 from the USC School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz is involved in women’s empowerment and public education, and appears frequently as an expert in women’s health and integrative medicine on TV, in print and on-line. She completed her clinical Ayurvedic Specialist degree at California College of Ayurveda in 2010 and was board certified in Integrative and Holistic medicine in 2008.
David Finke, MD
A Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. David L. Finke received his undergraduate and Medical Doctor degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006. He completed his post-graduate training as Administrative Chief Resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award. He is very active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has a special interest in healthcare reform. Dr. Finke believes that patient education is the foundation of a good patient-physician relationship and was awarded “Top OB/GYN” and “Most Compassionate OB/GYN” in California by HealthTap.com in 2011-12.
Ruth Cousineau, MD
A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Cousineau earned a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University before earning her medical doctorate from UCLA School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Cousineau was elected as Clinical Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is named "Top Doctor" by US News and World Report. She has been honored by the Cedars-Sinai Circle of Friends program. Her charity involvement includes the Cedars-Sinai Helping Hand of Los Angeles, Shane's Inspiration, the March if Dimes, and the Aviva Center, among others.
Jay M. Goldberg, MD
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Jay M. Goldberg earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1996 after completing his undergraduate education at the University of California-San Diego. He completed his internship and residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in minimally Invasive Gynecology, he has been at the forefront of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Goldberg has been awarded the Cedars-Sinai Obstetrician of the Year award and was recipient of the Golden Apple Award-given by the resident physicians he teaches.
Kathleen Valenton, MD
Dr. Kathleen Valenton received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. After earning her Masters Degree in Psychology and working as a senior therapist for children with Autism, she went on to receive her Medical Degree from the prestigious University of Vermont College of Medicine, consistently rated one of the top 10 medical schools in the country.
She received exceptional training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the highly acclaimed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and has continued to serve on staff as an attending physician providing optimal obstetric care and offering operative gynecologic procedures. She participates in resident education, and is highly involved in nursing and MD collaboratives. She has recently extended her practice to the well reputed St. John's Medical Center.
Her main interests in the field of OB/GYN are in obstetrics, menopause, infertility evaluation, and minimally invasive surgery.

Rebecca Brown, MD
Dr. Rebecca Brown is a Board Certified OB/GYN practicing in Beverly Hills, CA. She received her Medical Degree from USC Keck School of Medicine. Her residency training was at the well respected Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Brown continues to serve as a full time attending physician at both Cedars Sinai and Saint John’s Medical Center. She maintains a busy private practice, with patient centered care. She is respected and liked by both her colleagues and patients.
Her professional interests include minimally invasive surgical techniques, menopause and peri-menopause, and pelvic pain.
Randy S. Harris, MD
Dr. Randy Harris is a full time attending physician on the staff of Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California where he has held many committee positions over the years including the Clinical Chief of Gynecology. He has been in the private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology for over thirty-five years. He has been an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA Medical Center Los Angeles California. Currently he is the Medical Director of Operating Room Services at the Roxbury Surgical Center in Beverly Hills. Dr. Harris is on the Gynecological Teaching Staff at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center and considered an expert in Minimally Invasive gynecologic Surgery and teaches medical students, residents and fellows. He has an extensive background in the use of Lasers, especially the Carbon Dioxide laser for the treatment of Gynecologic diseases.
George Weinberger, MD, FACOG
Dr. George Weinberger is a Board Certified OB/GYN. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada). He has twice served terms as Chief of Gynecology and is also past Chief of Surgery at Century City Hospital. Dr. Weinberger has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology and infertility for over 30 years. He was one of the first gynecologists in Los Angeles to manage the symptoms of PMS, peri menopause and menopause with compounded "natural" bio-identical hormonal therapy. He has long advocated conservative management of gynecological bleeding problems and incorporates preventative measures for recurring vaginal infections. Surgical issues are managed with minimally invasive procedures whenever possible.
Yvonne Bohn, MD
I have lived in Los Angeles since 1985 when I moved to Los Angeles from Montana to attend UCLA. I graduated with a BS in Psychobiology in 1991. I then attend USC Medical School, and did my residency in OB-GYN at USC which I completed in 1999. I worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor for USC for 3 years post residency and did private practice as well at Good Samaritan Hospital. I practiced there for 15 years with two colleagues from my residency class. As a trio we participated in a number of media events involved in educating women in Women's Health. We were involved in a reality medical series called "Deliver Me" on Discovery Health and the Own Network for 4 seasons. During that time we collectively wrote "The Mommy Doc's Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and Birth" as well as being the medical spokes people for Monistat and EPT and serving as experts on talk shows, radio shows, blogging and magazine articles. I moved my practice to Santa Monicain June 2014. I am currently board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and starting my 17th year of practice post residency at Santa Monica Women’s Health adjacent to Providence St. John’s Hospital.
In my practice I provide comprehensive health care to women of all stages of their reproductive life ranging from onset of menses, through pregnancy, menopause and post-menopause. My focus is on preventive care to prevent and detect disease early. I offer management for contraception, menopause,diagnosing and treating pelvic tumorsand infertility as well as provide prenatal care and delivery.
Most recently I received training and became certified with the Mona Lisa Laser at the Laser Institute for Vaginal and Vulvar Health. I am so excited to offer this treatment to my patients. I think it a revolutionary to offer a treatment to improve vaginal atrophy and painful intercourse without requiring hormones or surgery.
I amvery passionate about preventive health and education. I believes strongly inmoderation, and most importantly, being fit and eating well. My favorite activities are cooking, gardening, running, skiing, biking and triathlons as well as spending time with my children Ryan, 13, and Kylie, 6 and my husband of 17 years, Bob.
Taz Elizabeth Varkey, MD
Dr. Taz Elizabeth Varkey is a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UCLA. She then obtained her medical degree by completing her basic science education at Tulane Medical School and her clinical years at USC Keck School of Medicine in Los Angleles. Finally, she completed her four year Ob/Gyn residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. After residency she spent 8 years with Cedars Sinai Medical Group before she finally started her own private practice over 6 years ago. In total, she has been practicing as an Ob/Gyn for almost 15 years. During this time she has maintained close ties with the Department of Ob/Gyn at Cedars Sinai Medical Center by serving on the Performance Improvement Committee for the past 4 years. She is currently treasurer of the Department of Ob/Gyn. She also works actively with the residents at the hospital as an Attending Physician and as a Volunteer Teaching Faculty with the Department of Ob/Gyn.
Lisa M. Valle, DO
I am an integrative gynecologist and CEO/owner of Oasis Women’s Sexual Function Center in Santa Monica. I solely focus on female sexual dysfunction concerns such as decreased sex drive, inability/difficulty achieving orgasm, arousal disorders, various sexual pain conditions, vaginismus, vestibulitis, and vulvodynia. I have been in practice for over 12 years and women’s sexual wellness has been a special interest of mine since 2005. I appreciate evidence based practices of both Western and Eastern medicine and strongly believe that each condition needs a holistic, integrated approach to heal optimally.
I was born in Los Angeles, raised in Orange County and attended Loyola Marymount University for undergraduate school. I received my medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (now known as Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine). I began the first half of my obstetrics and gynecology training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas and subsequently transferred and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno Medical Education Program.
I am a board certified Diplomate with the American Board of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology. I am also an active Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Memberships include: International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. I have been featured as a medical expert on TLC, the Discovery Health Channel, radio, online and print media.

William C. To, MD
William C. To, MD is board certified in obstetric and gynecology, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. To received his medical degree at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1978 and completed his residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA, and the Women's Hospital at USC Medical Center.
Dr. To's main clinical and research interests are minimally invasive treatments of fibroid tumors, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian masses, and endometriosis; management of hormonal imbalances including bio-identical hormonaltherapy; gynecology, and vaginal pathology. These are achieved through state-of-the-art comprehensive treatments including cutting-edge laparoscopic, laser, hysteroscopic, microscopic, and MonaLisa procedures..
Dr. To has been an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 1982, and he is actively involved with the resident and UCLA medical student training program. As a solo practitioner, Dr. To is dedicated to providing the highest level of individualized and compassionate care to each of his patients.
In addition, Dr. To is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Christina Adberg, MD, MPH
Christina Adberg, MD is an Attending Physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her main surgical interests are hysteroscopic myomectomy, polypectomy, and endometrial ablation, as well as laparoscopic management of ovarian abnormalities and laparoscopic hysterectomy. Her office practice focuses on women’s health, with special interests in family planning, vaginal health, and management of menopause.
Dr. Adberg received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her medical degree from Columbia University. She also received her Master's Degree in Public Health from Columbia University. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Adberg is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Joshua R. Gonzalez, MD
Joshua Gonzalez, MD, is fellowship-trained in Sexual Medicine and specializes in the management of male and female sexual dysfunctions. These include issues surrounding hormone deficiency, menopause, sexual arousal, orgasm, ejaculation, libido/desire, sexual pain, penile curvature, and erectile function. Dr. Gonzalez also treats a variety of common urological conditions including benign prostatic disease, voiding dysfunction, and male infertility. Throughout his career, Dr. Gonzalez has focused on advocating for sexual health and providing improved healthcare to the LGBTQ community.
Barry J. Brock, MD
Barry J. Brock, MD, has over 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology of treating women of all ages. He is an attending doctor at Cedars Sinai Medical Center since completing his residency there. His passion for women's health is unequalled. He takes pride in giving quality care to all his patients. His obstetrical skills have resulted in maintaining the lowest cesarean section rate at Cedars Hospital. He does this by following his 3 goals; one, having a healthy mother; two, a healthy baby and 3 having an enjoyable experience. His low cesarean section rate is obtained by delivering breech babies vaginally, doing vbac (vaginal delivery after cesarean section), and as well as doing vaginal twin deliveries. Dr. Brock’s skill and expertise has enabled his patients to have the experience of a vaginal delivery.
Barry J. Brock, MD, has been a member of the Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Center thus offering to his patient major surgeries if necessary via laparoscopic techniques (belly button surgery). He has been part of the Center of Excellence, Center for Women’s incontinence and Pelvic health. Dr. Brock is one of only a few gynecologists that offer vaginal outpatient surgeries for urinary incontinence; the tension free sling.
Dr. Brock received his undergraduate and medical degrees from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He did an internship at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, followed by a one-year surgical residency. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Brock has been for the last 14 years volunteered for Helps Internationally, going to Guatemala and operating on the local population.

Karl I. Norris, MD
Dr. Norris is a dedicated and thorough OB/GYN treating patients in Beverly Hills California. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Los Angeles County Medical Association. Dr. Norris received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and then attended medical school in Switzerland at the University of Lausanne Faculte de Biologie et de Medicine. He completed his surgical & obstetrics and gynecology internship at Cantonal Hospital. He relocated to the United States and completed his OB/GYN residency at Boston Hospital for Women, which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Dr. Norris is also fluent in the French language and has been in practice in Beverly Hills for over 40 years.
